Breadcrumbs in Isawiki
Breadcrumbs (see breadcrumbs in Wikipedia ) are used as a navigational aid a little like a map with a "You are Here" arrow.
For example, the breadcrumbs for this page are shown at the top as:-
Home > Isawiki > Help > Breadcrumbs
Short Title
The "Short Title" is the very last item shown in bold at the end of the breadcrumbs.
Please set it to either the same as the "article name", or is a shortened version of the article name.
Parent Article
The "Parent Article" is the second last item in the breadcrumbs.
Please set it to the most logical parent (or super-set or larger classification). The parent article must be a valid Isawiki article name.
Breadcrumbs normally only have one parent, but can have multiple parents.
As a general rule the parent article should be a more common name than the child - so as the breadcrumbs move towards the left then names get more and more common.
If you want to have Isawiki's home page as the parent, please enter "Isawiki Home".
Grand Parents
To specify a grand-parent, please go to the parent article and enter a parent for that article - all the way back to the Home page.
